Directed by Nazanin Sobhan-Sarbandi, the 6-minute short will go on screen on August 22 at the 2020 edition of the Scottish film event. The fest is a seven day cultural event, which kicked off on August 17 and will run through to August 23.
The film will be showcased at the ‘Family Shorts’, one of the fest’s screening categories.
‘The Cycling Wind’ is about a young wind that finds a bicycle and starts ridding it. For the wind it means hours of effortless fun and moving around. What causes other winds to be impressed and at the same time envious, is that this wind is the only one who has such a vehicle.
The short film has so far competed at a number of global events, including the Annual Bike Shorts Film Festival in the US, the International Animated Film Festival ‘Les Nuits Magiques’ in France and the Canterbury Anifest in the UK.
The Glasgow Short Film Festival accepts films in diverse categories of documentary, fiction and animation. According to the official website of the event, this year the GSFF is holding its 12th and a half edition.
